About the Guru

Born into a culturally enriched family, Dr. Ranjani discovered her passion for Bharatanatyam under the guidance of her father and Guru, Kalaimamani Dr. K. Rajamanickam, the visionary founder of Sangeetha Salangai Natyalaya – Kalaiaruvi. Rooted deeply in tradition while embracing innovation, she has evolved into one of the leading names in the field of Nattuvangam and Bharatanatyam education.

Dr. Ranjani holds formal qualifications in B.Dance and M.Dance from Annamalai University and serves as the Director of Kalaiaruvi – School of Dance and Music. She is also the Founder of Avartana by Ranjani Ghoshal – The Rhythm Academy, an exclusive platform dedicated to nurturing and advancing the art of Nattuvangam, rhythm studies, and Carnatic rhythmic excellence on a global scale.
